Trendy Tot Thursday (19/11/2015)

My, life does seriously get away from you sometimes! I was all prepared to go with this Trendy Tot last week (12/11/2015) but totally forgot to post it. It wasn’t until first thing Monday morning that I had that face-palm moment. Sorry about that, it is why this post would have made so much more sense last week!

We do not have an Asda near us. However there is one in deepest, darkest South London (relatively near my work) so I did get an opportunity to go in after work. And that is where I found these lovely pjs!

I grew up watching BBC Children In Need, and never failed to be touched by the images and stories told throughout the night. I had bought Cracker Pudsey ears and Biscuit Blush ears from Boots when they first came out. When in Asda I couldn’t resist the Pudsey/Blush pyjama bottoms for both of them. Cracker is usually hotter in bed than Biscuit so I got him the short-sleeved super hero t-shirt. Biscuit looks so beautiful in her amazing Blush long-sleeved t-shirt. Her pink slipper boots are from Joules and are perfect on these chillier days (Cracker wouldnt pose in his blue ones).
I hope you enjoyed my rather belated Trendy Tot Thursday. Please keep up to date with the linky via Mother Geek and Clearly Bex; both of whom are much more organised than me and can keep up to date!

Trendy Tot Thursday (11/06/2015)

Hello and welcome to another week where I get to show off my beautiful twinkles and tell you what they’re wearing!

It’s rather an eclectic mix for you this week as my twins are toddlers and will only pose when they deem fit; even if they are wearing something ridiculously cute that is no guarantee they will ever let anyone see it!

This is why Cracker has picked his pyjamas to show you this week!!

His jumper is from George at Asda; it was in the Spring sale and it is 2 sizes too big, but super comfy and perfect for over jammies! The jammies in question, which you can only see the bottom half of, are shortie jammies from Primark. They are Dusty from Disney/Pixar’s Planes, Cracker spends most of his awake time wearing these flying around the flat! He is always wearing Mickey Mouse slippers from his favourite place in the world- the Disney Store. They are soft and padded and has Mickey’s face on them, what more could a 2 year old want from slippers?!

Unlike her brother- Biscuit is more than happy to pose on demand!

Doesn’t she look like a little super star on her Mini Micro Scooter?! Her sailor dress is from Powell Craft. Word of warning- this dress is on the generous size! Biscuit, at 34 months is wearing their 12-24 months size. I know she’s petite but seriously?!? The cardigan is from a brand called Barbaras, I bought it from Zulily– originally it was Cracker’s but now Biscuit is making good use out of it. Her Doc McStuffins baseball hat and her Frozen sunglasses were a present from her Mamps (Cracker got a Minions hat and Avengers sunglasses for those  worried about him). All these accessories are from Asda. Her Frozen shoes are from Crocs

Trendy Tot Thursday (21/05/2015)

Happy sunny Sunday to everyone. I hope you all slept well? I will never get used to the ridiculously early times Cracker wakes up, I miss sleep!!

Welcome to another week of Biscuit and Cracker’s Trendy Tot Thursday. I have chosen their pyjamas for this week’s post, they have some amazing pyjamas and I hardly ever get to show them off!!

These fabulous twin pyjamas are from a brand called P&K at night. I had never of them before, nor have I found them since but the ever wonderful Zulily. Zulily is a site which showcases lots of different brands at reduced prices. I often have a quick look on their for ideas for the twins and gifts for my friends and family.

Biscuit also has a pair of thick bed socks on from Cath Kidston. She gets super cold feet, so we often have to team her pyjamas with some socks. These have a grip on the bottom, so she doesn’t slip over when walking in them.

The pyjamas themselves have a funky pattern, are soft cotton and are a good size. Plus there’s something about your little ones fresh out of the bath and in a comfy onesie, isn’t there?

Trendy Tot Thursday (11/12/2014)

We’re continuing the Christmas theme this week, showcasing Biscuit and Cracker’s fabulous, festive pyjamas.

IMG_1880.JPG

There is something about a gorgeous little one, like my Biscuit, in a lovely, old-fashioned nightdress! She looks so cute and ‘proper’, doesn’t she? This nightie is from Mothercare, they have a lovely Christmas range of clothes every year. As I worry about Biscuit’s legs getting cold (she kicks off her duvet every night) I teamed it with a plain pair of white leggings.

Cracker’s lovely Rudolph pyjamas are also from Mothercare’s Christmas range. Obviously, these are unisex and I could have got these for both of them. They are dead comfy, as are all of Mothercare’s pyjamas, and are very easy wash too.

Trendy Tot Thursday (11/09/2014)

Yawn snore snooze As it’s a late night post for me, I thought that I would take inspiration from what the twins are currently wearing.

IMG_1636.JPG
These are some old school Mothercare pyjamas that, I think, came in a handy pack of two (perfect for a pack of two babies)! I got them ages ago when I saw them on offer in store and thought “oh they’ll grow into them one day”. The best thing about having twins in this situation is that I don’t have to pick whether they’ll wear the “my heart belongs to mummy” or the “daddy you are my hero” top as they both get worn!!

IMG_1634.JPG
They are very comfortable and are generous sizes. These are 18-24mths and even my big boy, Cracker, fits into them beautifully. The thick waistband is strong but not tight and the envelope neckline makes the tops easy to get on and off.

IMG_1635.JPG
We chop and change who wears which top and which trousers depending on who asks for which animal (giraffe or elephant)! I love pyjamas for myself, I would quite happily love in my ones and I love buying pyjamas for them. In fact, I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to do a Trendy Tot Thursday about them (and maybe more to come in the future, they have some fantastic night wear in their wardrobe to grow into). I make sure they are the softest material that I can, with a comfy waist and that are not too tight around the wrist or ankle.

IMG_1633.JPG I admit that this photo is a bit of a cheat as it was from a couple of weeks ago when we were spending one night at my brother and sister-in-law’s house before going on holiday, but I couldn’t resist showing you how sweetly they snuggled up to each other that night!!
