Trendy Tot Thursday (23/04/2015)

Hello from us here at the Biscuit and Cracker house! We have two disappointed toddlers now that the sun has gone away and been replaced with grey rain clouds- we have been enjoying going to the park every evening in the blazing sunshine for a couple of weeks but I’m not sure we’ll get to do that for a little while again.

People are telling me more and more how grown up my twinkle-berries now are. They have just been offered a full-time place in pre-school; all I can now think about is how they are my little babies and how they’re so teeny tiny!

Princess Biscuit (as she looks here) is wearing a butterfly t-shirt from M & Co, a striped ruffle dress from Boots Mini Club, our favourite storm tights from the amazing Slugs and Snails and her lovely shoes from Clarks. I think she looks really together in this outfit, and is it still comfortable and cosy.

Superman Cracker is wearing his green, cord hoody from Trespass, blue combat trousers from Boots Mini Club and his shoes from Clarks. As shown by these photos, Cracker is always on the go and he needs clothes that will keep up with him and keep him comfortable.

Trendy Tot Thursday (16/04/2015)

Good morning to you and welcome to another Trendy Tot Thursday from the trendiest tots I know, Biscuit and Cracker.

They are enjoying the sunny weather so much, we’ve been to the park nearly every day now. A bonus for us as parents- they then sleep really well afterwards!

My grown-up chappy this week is wearing a Minion t-shirt from the Despicable Me films which I bought from Primark. It is so bright and colourful, and has the layering effect I like by the grey sleeves making it look like there’s a long sleeved top underneath (without the added layer making him hot). His funky striped shorts are from Mini Club at Boots (they are from last summer, but Cracker has seemed to grow up rather than out recently so they still fit well). His socks are from Gap and he is wearing his new season shoes from Clarks– I am not normally a fan of shoes with lights on them (as these are) but we are limited in our options with Cracker as his feet are so wide.

My not-so-little girlie is looking a pretty picture in pink. Her striped dress and starry leggings are a set from a brand called Hide and Seek, I found them in T K Maxx and think they look pretty trendy. She is wearing a long sleeved vest from Disney Store underneath as she gets a bit chilly (Biscuit does not run around quite as much as Cracker, I don’t know anyone who does). When it got a bit windy and chilly she had her cool Minnie Mouse jacket from Primark to keep her warm. Biscuit’s socks are also from Gap and she is wearing her new season shoes from Clarks, which I love so much I want them in my size!

Trendy Tot Thursday (09/04/2015)

Good morning lovely people. I hope you’ve had a good week and got to enjoy the nice weather. I have been on holiday this week and I feel very relaxed now!

I’m showcasing Biscuit and Cracker’s outdoor coats this week. We spent the first part of the week at my Mum and Dad’s house and they got to go out and get muddy in the park. Cracker has always liked getting dirty when out and about but Biscuit has only just started to accept getting a little mucky, but she still doesn’t like it on her hands!

Biscuit is posing like a pro in her coat from Marks and Spencers. It is long, lined in nice warm fabric, and is shower-proof. It is a lovely flowery design, but not too girly, if you know what I mean! Her gloves are part of a set from George at Asda, which their Nonna sewed a length of ribbon on it so that she doesn’t lose them (why they don’t do this anyway is beyond me, it is so much handier than gloves which get lost every 5 minutes). Her tights are from Mamas and Papas, they came with a pair of funky shorts (she is wearing them, you just can’t see them), her red fleece (just visible) is from Mothercare and her pink, sparkly wellies are from Primark.

Cracker is demonstrating his tree-climbing skills in his coat, also from Marks and Spencers. It has a space pattern on it, is lined in a nice warm fabric and is waterproof. Nonna also sewed a ribbon on Cracker’s George at Asda gloves (seriously glove-making-companies, I even had people asking me where I got their gloves from as they all wanted them with ribbons on them). His just-visible fleece is also from Mothercare, his trousers are from M and Co and his wellies are dinosaur print ones from Start Rite.

Trendy Tot Thursday (02/04/2015)

Happy Easter Sunday to you, one and all! I hope you’re managing to have a bit of a relaxing weekend and the weather isn’t too bad where you are.

We are at my mum and dad’s house this weekend. Biscuit always gets a bit chilly when we’re out here in the country so, as you can see, is all snuggled up nice and warm.

Biscuit’s amazing fleecy/furry warm hoodie is from Joules. Cracker has a matching one in blue and they are amazing. They have hoods (with ears attached) and in-built mittens. We teamed it with a dress from M and Co, a pair of Hoot tights from Slugs and Snails (fantastic for keeping little legs warm) and her slippers from Clarks.

Cracker, once again, is all about the layering. He doesn’t feel the cold as much as little Biscuit does but he needs an extra layer on him.

He is wearing trousers from M and Co, his orange long-sleeved t-shirt is from Benetton and his grey short-sleeved t-shirt is from Mamas and Papas.
